The Iberian Museum of Archeology and Art (MIAA) in Abrantes combines the most distant past (prehistory) with contemporary art and the future. The creation of this museum, which was born in the former Convent of S. Domingos in the Historic Center of the city of Abrantes, will include six permanent exhibition rooms, through which the Prehistory and History collection will be distributed through the Estrada archaeological collection, owned by the Ernesto Lourenço Foundation Road, Children. In the Sala Maria Lucília Moita, the works donated by this painter from Abrantina will be presented. Two rooms will receive temporary exhibitions with works from the Figueiredo Ribeiro Contemporary Art Collection. Finally, it will also have temporary exhibition rooms, where relevant works will be exhibited and in which Abrantes, its brands and Abrantes creators will be valued.
