The foundation stone of the Póvoa da Galega Municipal Swimming Pools has been laid.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Mafra, Hélder Sousa Silva, the President of the Mafra Municipal Assembly, José Bizarro and the President of the Milharado Parish Council, José Faustino Carreira, who signed the notice.
This project dedicated to promoting sport and health will be built next to the Prof. João Dias Agudo Primary School, and will include a swimming pool for adults and a pool for children, changing rooms and sanitary facilities, a secretariat and offices, a medical office and physiotherapy room, a gym and a multidisciplinary room, as well as a grandstand with capacity for 280 spectators.
